The winners have been announced for the 23rd Annual "A Taste of Muncie" held at Cornerstone Center for the Arts on Sunday, April 19, 2009.  Thank you to our Sponsors, WLBC, WERK, MAX, ESPN Radio, Indiana Michigan Power, Old National Bank, Indiana Arts Commission, all of the participants, volunteers and staff who worked extremely hard to prepare for todays event.   There were an estimated 508 people through the doors for the event which aims to highlight Restaurants, and Caterers from Muncie and surrounding areas. The winners for this year were: Best Appetizer: Vera Mae's for their Shrimp Toast Best Side: Bird's Smokehouse for their Corn Casserole Best Entree: Ruby Tuesday's for their Ribs Best Beverage: Coffee Junkiez for their Assorted Coffees & Fruit Freezes Best Sandwich: Ruby Tuesday's for their Ruby Minis Best Salad: Carino's Italian Grill for their Italian Wedge Salad Best Dessert: Dairy Dream for thier Specialty Sundaes Best Soup: Scotty's Brewhouse for thier Brewhouse Potato Bacon Soup And the Best of Taste went to: Dairy Dream of Albany, Inc. The 24th Annual "A Taste of Muncie" will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2010.
