Spring Class Registration 2011 There's still time to register! Classes start January 31st and continue until April 28th. The Arts Program offers classes for youth and adults in numerous areas of the arts.
Youth classes are offered for children 1 year old - 8th grade and include: Early Art, Youth Art, Art Exploration, Youth Ceramics, Early Tap, Early Jazz, Early Ballet, Youth Tap, Youth Jazz, Youth Ballet, Zumba, Youth Indian and Bollywood, Martial Arts, Youth Drama, Early Piano, Youth Piano, and more! There's something to spark the creativity in every child! Adult classes for 9th grade and older include: Hip Hop, Belly Dance of all levels, Country Line Dancing, Swing, Indian and Bollywood, Pilates, Cardio Dance Movement, Zumba, FIber Art, Jazz Vocals, Songwritting, Digital Photography, Painting and Ceramics. These classes are great opportunities for adults to relax while expressing themselves creatively. New classes and private lessons also begin this spring. Workshops Workshop: Cardmaking for Kids- Feb. 5, 2011, 3:00-5:00 PM Click here to register for this workshop. Make Valentine cards, Thank-You cards, or cards of your choice in this cardmaking workshop designed for children. Cornerstone’s card making supplies allows every child to personalize their cards to match their personality! This workshop is for those in 2nd - 8th grade. The cost of this workshop is $15 and includes all materials. Workshop: Swing Dance - Feb. 12, 2011, 3:00-5:00 PM Click here to register for this workshop. There’s no better way to woo your Valentine than with the fun, upbeat moves of swing dance! During this workshop, you’ll learn some basic movements and steps that can be done to a variety of music. Registration with a partner is preferred. This workshop is for 9th grade - adults. The cost of the workshop is $10. Inclement Weather Policy for Classes During the winter season, Cornerstone Center for the Arts follows the Muncie Schools policy for cancelling classes.
