6 Week Class Series - Register Today! In just a few days Cornerstone's Arts Adventure Program will be starting our Six Week Class Series! Just like during our twelve week semester, we offer classes for children and adults in Dance, Music, Theatre, Language, and the Visual Arts. Here you can learn something new or continue gaining experience in something you already love. Don't miss out on the opportunity to be a part of the arts in your community. Classes for youth: Youth art, Jewelry Making, Youth Dance, Vocal Workshop and private lessons in Drums, Voice, Cello, Piano, Saxophone, Violin, Trumpet and Guitar. Classes for high school and adult: Calligraphy, Digital Photography, Painting, Musical Theatre, Spanish, Ballroom Dance, Shakespeare Troupe, Tap and Private Music Lessons. Class Spotlights Just a few of this session's classes... Hip Hop There are four Hip Hop classes at Cornerstone this Spring! Over fifty students are registered in Youth, Beginning, Intermediate, and Hip Hop Aerobics. Hip Hop is a form of dance that requires constant movement and energy. The classes are taught by Arttacgo Luckett, who started teaching here after first helping JK Blair with her dance classes in the fall. Piano There are many ways to get involved in Piano at Cornerstone. Kids can sign up for Leslie Draper's group piano classes that introduce them to very basics in our electronic Piano Lab. After that, they can move on to private lessons with Judy Kiger or Leslie. Adults are also encouraged to sign up for private lessons. Youth Art On Tuesday nights, Cornerstone's Art Room is overflowing with children for Youth Art. They are painting, drawing, and making sculptures under the instruction of Evan Walters and her two Ball State volunteers, Nicole and Jamie. Soon their work will be displayed in the gallery exhibit at the Cornerstone Celebration on April 15th, which will showcase all offered visual art classes.

Cornerstone Art Show CORNERSTONE ART SHOW Juried Art Competition Cornerstone Center for the Arts is accepting submissions for its first juried art competition. The Cornerstone Art Show will take place on Wednesday, April 18 from 5-8 pm. Works can be dropped off at the Cornerstone building between 1-5 pm from April 2-6. Any 2D or 3D medium on any theme will be accepted. The cost is $5 per piece for adults and $3 per piece for youth (18 years or younger). There will be prizes awarded for each category and age group. Donations Accepted Cornerstone Center for the Arts has completed its second year with its new name!
