Event Rentals

The room rental rate covers an event time frame of up to 4 hours (5 hours if hosting wedding ceremony also), in addition to decorating, clean-up, and ceremony rehearsal time. Linens are available to rent through Cornerstone Center for the Arts. Details regarding linen prices and other incidentals are listed below. Any tables or chairs are also provided and already included in the rental rate.

Event liability insurance is required for all events held in our building. Typically, clients can contact their insurance company to receive this coverage. This proof of insurance must have Cornerstone Center for the Arts listed as the holder, the date of the event listed, and the amount of up to $1,000,000. This coverage amount will depend on other details regarding your event, such as alcohol. Event Security is also required for most events held in our facility and begins at $25/ hour.

We do not limit our building to a list of approved caterers! Any caterer is welcome to work in our building if they have the certifications and licenses to cater. We do charge an 18% commission fee to all caterers. This rate covers the use of our kitchens and dish washing facilities, and also the use of our plates, silverware, and glassware. Any bar service is welcome to bar-tend within our building, as long as they have a liquor license to serve in Indiana. We require an 18% commission rate for bar costs as well. Class Policies

Cornerstone Center for the Arts classes are held in the building at 520 E Main St. Muncie, IN 47305. Parking is available on the north side of the Cornerstone building in the main parking lot and the secondary lot— both located off E. Washington Street.

Cornerstone Center for the Arts reserves the ability to change class time, day, location, or to cancel class if necessary.

No children are to be left unattended in the building. Siblings or other children who are not attending classes or events must be supervised.

Class fees are due upon registration or prior to the first class meeting.

In the event of a class cancellation due to teaching artist availability or weather closure, a make-up class will be rescheduled. No make-up classes will occur for classes missed due to holidays.
